  1. Please check your emailand confirm that all details and dates are correct.
  2. Hotel check-in time from: 15:00 hrs.Hotel check-out time is: 11:00 hrs. We do not formally offer an early or late check-in/out service but will accommodate if possible.
  3. We do not provide our own transfer services; however, we can help you to connect with other travelers who may have similar arrival times, and coordinate taxis with a trusted local company. The taxis run on meters, and the price is set by the local government. We can provide you with the approximate costs, but these may vary depending on e.g. the number of travelers, the time of day, traffic and waiting time etc.
  4. Travel Insurance Recommendation: We strongly advise all guests travelling, to obtain comprehensive travel, cancellation, and medical insurance, as well as the appropriate visafor the duration of their trip. Travel insurance can provide coverage for unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost or damaged luggage, offering peace of mind and financial protection during your journey. Whilst we strive to provide a safe and secure environment, unforeseen circumstances can occur, and having travel insurance can help mitigate potential risks and ensure a smoother experience during your trip.

General Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy

  1. Only after the deposit or any payment is received is the reservation confirmed, before that it is only a booking enquiry.
  2. We usually require a 35% deposit at the time of booking(non-refundable and non-transferable) to secure your reservation.
  3. The balance must be paid in full 2 months before arrival. Bookings within the last 2 months must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  4. All bank transfersmade must be supported with an emailto us: hello@culinarygallivants.com. We are not responsible for any bank charges and foreign exchange fees on payments and refunds unless the cancellation is initiated by Culinary Gallivants.
  5. For any cancellations or changes to your existing reservation, please notify us at hello@culinarygallivants.comat least 24 hours prior to arrival.
  6. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for any agreed transfer of dates, cancellation or refund.
  7. If a trip is cancelled the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, however the following refund policy applies to the balance of the holiday cost.
  8. Cancellation 0 – 30 days before start date of holiday – 0% refund.
  9. Cancellation 31 – 90 days before start date of holiday – 50% refund.
  10. Culinary Gallivants is not responsible or liable for cancellations, delays, changes or losses caused by acts of God, war, closure of airports, airline cancellations, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents, visa issues or any other events beyond our control.
  11. The same applies to guests’ injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions developed during or subsequent to the holiday.
  12. Culinary Gallivants is not to be held liable for any flight costs or flight cancellations.
  13. Whilst it is unlikely that we shall have to make changes to bookings or other matters, we reserve the right to do so at any time, as long as they are equal in value. We shall inform you as early as we are able to in the event that this is necessary. At our discretion Culinary Gallivants reserves the right to give concessions and last-minute discounts. This does not automatically entitle other guests to the same concessions or discounts.
  14. In the unlikely event that Culinary Gallivants is unable to accommodate your booking due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund 100% of your payment or offer an alternative arrangement.
  15. Culinary Gallivants reserves the right to resell any rooms on which the monies have not been settled as per the agreement.
